ILB searched from Budleigh Salterton to Sandy Bay, Crew member again placed ashore to search the base of the cliffs. ILB then returned to Sidmouth for a crew change. 10:49 ILB requested by Portland Coastguard, to break off search for missing female and assist in search for a missing dog at Axemouth. Nothing found during search and ILB stood down at 11:00
022-06	18-11-06	12:25	Search	Ladram Bay	Pride of Sidmouth was launched on service in continuation of the search for missing female. ILB searched from Ladram Bay to Otterton Point, placing a crew member ashore at accessible locations to search the base of the cliffs. Search then moved 1/2 m out to sea and repeated. Nothing found.
021-06	15-11-06	09:25	Search	Otterton Ledge	Pride of Sidmouth was launched on service to assist the Police and Coastguard in the search for a missing person between sidmouth and Otterton ledge, to the West of Sidmouth. 10:54 The Lifeboat was re tasked to continue the search to the East of Sidmouth towards Branscombe. Coastguard rescue helicopter Whisky bravo made an aerial search of the same area, while Coastguard teams searched the cliffs. Nothing untoward was found.
020-06	14-11-06	15:51	Search	Sidmouth Area	Pride of Sidmouth was launched on service to assist the Police and Coastguard in the search for a missing person between chit rocks and Budleigh Salterton, to the West of Sidmouth. Exmouth all weather lifeboat and Exmouth inshore lifeboat were also involved in the search. 17:09 The search was called off and Sidmouth Lifeboat returned to station. Portland Coastguard rescue helicopter "Whisky Bravo" was tasked to make an aerial search of the area. 19:12 Pride of Sidmouth was re-launched on service to assist the Police and Coastguard to resume the search for a missing person between chit rocks and Budleigh Salterton, to the West of Sidmouth. 20:45 Search called off and Lifeboat returned to station. 019-06	13-11-06	12:03	Rescue	Beer Head	Pride of Sidmouth was launched on service to assist the Police and Coastguard and stand by as a member of the public was helped from the cliff edge at Beer head , to the East of Sidmouth. The casualty was safely lifted by helicopter to Exeter hospital, and the lifeboat was returned to station.

017-06	27-08-06	10:11	Rescue	Weston Mouth	Pride of Sidmouth was launched on service to assist in the recovery of a dinghy brought ashore at Weston beach, to the East of Sidmouth. A search of the sea area confirmed that there were not any missing persons, and the dinghy was towed back to Sidmouth.
016-06	13-08-06	08:23	Search	Sidmouth	During a training exercise a member of the public discovered two abandoned piles of clothing on the beach and reported this to the crew of Sidmouth Lifeboat. Portland Coastguard were informed and Sidmouth Lifeboat was tasked to perform a close inshore search to the East of the Sidmouth area. One crew member was put ashore to investigate the clothing and found that it belonged to residents of a nearby hotel. The two persons were found to be safe and well in their hotel, their clothing having been left on the beach the previous evening. ILB stood down at 09:10
015-06	12-08-06	01:47	Search	Sidmouth	Sidmouth Lifeboat were paged by Portland Coastguard to search for a missing swimmer, following reports from a member of a group of swimmers that one of their group was missing. ILB was stood down prior to launch when the missing swimmer was found safe and well.
014-06	29-Jul-06	19:10	Medivac	Littlecombe Shoot	Following a 999 call Sidmouth Lifeboat was launched to Medivac a male casualty with a suspected broken ankle from the cliff path at Littlecombe Shoot. East of Sidmouth. 19:20 Pride of Sidmouth arrived on scene. 2 crewmen put ashore with first aid kit, Crew applied inflatable splint and administered oxygen to the casualty and prepared him for helicopter evacuation. 20:07 Royal Navy Rescue Helicopter 193 from RNAS Culdrose arrived on scene. 20:38 Casualty winched aboard on stretcher and flown to Exeter Hospital. 20:55 Lifeboat stood down and returned to station. 013-06	25-Jul-06	20:54	Rescue	Budleigh Salterton	Following a 999 call by a member of the public Sidmouth Lifeboat was called out by Portland coastguard, to assist a swimmer reported to be in difficulties 300 meters off the Mouth of the River Otter, south of Budleigh Salterton. 21:00 Pride of Sidmouth arrived on scene, and the swimmer taken aboard. 21:15 The casualty was taken safely ashore and handed over to Exmouth Coastguard team on the beach. Portland Coastguard Rescue helicopter also arrived on scene, but not required to carry the casualty to hospital. 21:17 Lifeboat stood down and returned to station. 21:39 Lifeboat refueled and ready for service.
012-06	18-Jul-06	21:06	Rescue	Budleigh Salterton	Sidmouth Lifeboat was called out by Portland coastguard following a 999 call by a member of the public. The was task to assist 2 persons reported to be drifting in a dinghy 800 meters off the Mouth of the River Otter, south of Budleigh Salterton. 21:10 arrived on scene. The occupants of the dinghy confirmed that they were not in trouble, and could row back ashore. 21:16 Lifeboat stood down and returned to station. 21:40 Lifeboat refueled and ready for service.
011-06	17-Jul-06	22:05	Rescue	Seaton	Sidmouth Lifeboat was called out by Portland coastguard to assist 2 persons drifting in a dinghy 100 metes off the beach at Fisherman’s Gap, Seaton. As Sidmouth Rescue arrived on scene the situation was resolved, and the two persons returned to shore. Sidmouth Lifeboat was stood down and returned to station.
010-06	11-Jul-06	23:40	Fire	Weston Mouth	Following a Call from Portland Coastguard the Sidmouth Lifeboat was launched to assist Sidmouth fire brigade and transport 4 fire-fighters, a portable pump and equipment to a fire at a chalet on the beach at Weston Mouth. Due to the remote location of the chalet it is impossible to get a fire appliance to the scene. 01:46 Fire damped down and all personnel returned to Sidmouth.02:25 Lifeboat refueled and ready for service.
009-06	09-Jul-06	19:24	Search	Seaton Hole	Following a Call from Portland Coastguard Sidmouth Lifeboat was launched to search for a missing person after a windsurf board was reported floating off shore at Seaton hole. Portland Coastguard rescue helicopter made a search of the area, and Sidmouth lifeboat made a shoreline search from Seaton beach to Beer. Lyme Regis Lifeboat recovered the board to the coastguard unit on Beer beach. Nothing untoward was found. Lifeboat refueled and ready for service 20:47
008-06	04-Jul-06	16:14	Rescue	Salcombe Regis	Following a 999 Call from Portland Coastguard Sidmouth Lifeboat was launched to assist a speedboat with engine failure. 3 persons aboard, reported to be 1 ½ miles out at sea, south of Salcombe Regis. A tow line was rigged and the speedboat was towed back to Port Royal beach, Sidmouth. Sidmouth lifeboat shore crew helped to pull the boat up the beach, using the tractor from the lifeboat station. Lifeboat refueled and ready for service 17:33
007-06	02-Jul-06	09:32	Rescue	Sidmouth	Sidmouth Lifeboat was tasked to assist a number of sailing dinghies in trouble east of Sidmouth, off Weston. The group of 14 dinghies, with young crew on a sailing camp, had been scattered by a sudden thunder squall and a number capsized. Two escorting safety boats, and escort Yacht, were able to give immediate assistance to the main group, but the unpredictable winds separated the boats. Sidmouth lifeboat took two youngsters aboard from their dinghy and returned them to Sidmouth.The Dinghy was towed back later. The remaining youngsters made their way to Weston beach and were ferried in the safety boats and lifeboat back to Sidmouth. The remaining dinghies were towed back by the safety boats. Beer Coastguard team and Lyme Regis lifeboat were in attendance.
006-06	19-Jun-06	20:39	Search	Ladram Bay	Sidmouth Lifeboat was tasked to assist the police helicopter in a search for a missing person. A shoreline and cliff search between Ladram bay, to the west, and Littlecombe shoot, to the east, was carried out. Beer coastguard teams searched the cliff areas and coast footpaths. Nothing untoward was found. 21:40 The Pride of Sidmouth was stood down by Portland Coastguard 22:00 Lifeboat refueled and ready for service
005-06	17-Jun-06	15:37	Rescue	Sidmouth	Following a Call from Portland Coastguard the Sidmouth Lifeboat was launched to assist a becalmed 25 foot yacht 4 nautical miles off Sidmouth. The yacht, on passage from Brixham to Weymouth with 2 persons onboard, had run out of fuel and Sidmouth lifeboat provided 25 litres of petrol to enable them to get to an anchorage for the night off Seaton. Lifeboat refueled and ready for service 16:52
004-06	09-Jun-06	18:26	Rescue	Sidmouth	Sidmouth Lifeboat launched after a report to the Coastguard that 2 swimmers were in difficulty at the entrance to Clifton Beach. As the lifeboat was launching the 2 swimmers made their way to shore and informed the lifeboat crew that they were un harmed. 18:46 Lifeboat refueled& ready for service
003-06	04-Jun-06	12:15	Rescue	Jacobs Ladder	Sidmouth Lifeboat was tasked to assist 2 people on Jacobs Ladder Beach. Sidmouth Lifeboat found the people on the beach 300m west of Jacobs Ladder. Both required medical assistance and were evacuated by the Lifeboat to Clifton Beach. 01:24 Lifeboat refueled and ready for service.
002-06	22-Apr-06	18:49	Rescue	Beer Beach	Sidmouth Lifeboat was launched following a 999 call by a member of the public to HM Coastguard. Tasked to search and recover a windsurf board reported drifting between Beer & Seaton. The board was recovered and returned to shore at Beer. After a shoreline search of the area for a possible casualty, nothing untoward was found. Sidmouth Lifeboat was then stood down and returned to station. Refueled and ready for service at 19:58.
