017/09	01/08/09	19:04	Search	Beer Area	Lifeboat launched, at the request of Portland Coastguard, to search for a missing person. A close inshore search was conducted between Beer Head and the mouth of the River Axe (East of Seaton). Nothing found. Person was consequently found safe and well in Bridport.
016/09	26/07/09	12:13	Rescue	Beer	Lifeboat launched, at the request of Portland Coastguard, in response to 4 persons suspected to be cut-off by the tide between Beer and Seaton beaches. A close in-shore search was conducted between Beer Beach (Kings Hole Rock) and Seaton Beach. All persons were found safe and well on Beer Pier.
015/09	23/07/09	12:18	Rescue	Weston Mouth	Sidmouth Lifeboat launched at the request of Portland Coastguard to investigate a tent on the beach at Weston Mouth. One crewman was put ashore to ascertain that all was well with the occupant of the tent. He was informed regarding spring tides and the fact that the cliffs are unstable. Also attending were three coastguard cliff team from Beer.
014/09	12/07/09	13:22	Rescue	High Peak	Sidmouth Lifeboat was taked by Portland Coastguard to investigate a report of clothing sighted on the cliffs near Big Picket Rock. The Coastguard helicopter then reported a body on the beach below High Peak, but was unable to recover the body. Sidmouth 2 was also launched and both Lifeboats stood by while Police and Coastguards assesed the situation. Sidmouth 2 was tasked to marshal people away from the scene on the beach. The Coastguard helicopter then recovered the body and both Lifeboats recovered to station.
013/09	09/07/09	12:04	Search	Sidmouth Area	Lifeboat launched at the request of Portland Coastguard to assist in the search for a missing person. The Sidmouth lifeboat searched the area of sea, beach and cliffs west of Sidmouth toward Brandy head . A search was then made to the East of Sidmouth along to Weston Mouth. Nothing untoward was found and the lifeboat was returned to station.
012/09	08/07/09	16:37	Search	Sidmouth Area	Sidmouth Lifeboat was launched to to search for a missing person in the Salcombe Hill area. The Lifeboat performed a close inshore search from Sidmouth to Beer Head, with nothing found. The Lifeboat was then stood down at 17:50 by Portland Coastguard.
011/09	25/06/09	11:06	Rescue	Otterton Ledge	Sidmouth Lifeboat was launched to a report of a swimmer in trouble off of Otterton Ledge, near Budleigh Salterton. Coastguard Helicopter R106, from Portland was also scrambled to the scene. Sidmouth Lifeboat and R106 on scene at 11:12. Casualty recovered from the water safe and well, and taken by helicopter to coastguard's at Budleigh. ILB then stood down to return to Station at 11:29.
010/09	09/06/09	19:49	Search	Sidmouth Area	Sidmouth Lifeboat was launched to search for a missing Mirror dinghy with one person aboard in the area between Sidmouth and Seaton. The Missing person was located safely ashore. Lyme Regis Lifeboat was also tasked to the search and was sent to Charmouth to locate the Dinghy.
009/09	14/06/09	17:13	Rescue	Ladram Bay	Sidmouth Lifeboat were paged to assist 2 persons cut off by the tide between Ladram Bay & Budleigh Salterton. The Lifeboat was stood down before launch as the people had made it to safety.
008/09	31/05/09	19:39	Rescue	Seaton Hole	Sidmouth Lifeboat was launched to assist a male in difficulty approx 1nm off of Seaton Hole. Sidmouth Lifeboat arrived on scene and were then stood down by Portland Coastguard.
007/09	30/05/09	15:25	Rescue	Sidmouth Area	Sidmouth Lifeboat was paged to assist a Canoeist in difficulty in The Sidmouth Area. The Canoeist was escorted to the beach by 2 Kayakers in the area. Sidmouth Lifeboat were stood down before launch.

005/09	23/05/09	23:41	Search	Seaton Hole	Sidmouth Lifeboat was tasked by Portland Coastguard to assist the police in a search for a missing woman in the area between Beer beach and Seaton . A close inshore search was conducted between Beer Head, Seaton Hole and the mouth of the River Axe. At 01:04 The missing person was reported to be safe and well ashore. Sidmouth lifeboat was stood down to return to station
004/09	23/05/09	19:50	Rescue	Western Mouth	Sidmouth Lifeboat was tasked to search to the East of Sidmouth for 2 people aboard a dinghy with suspected engine failure. The dinghy was located about 200 meters off the shore at Weston Mouth. The occupants were unharmed, and taken aboard Sidmouth lifeboat. The dinghy was towed back to Sidmouth. The 2 people and vessel were put safely ashore at Port Royal beach.
003/09	04/05/09	21:10	Search	Budleigh Salterton	SIdmouth Lifeboat was tasked to search for a missing elderly female from Budleigh Salterton. Sidmouth Lifeboat performed a search for the missing person, with nothing found. Lifeboat returned to station at 22:12.
002/09	04/05/09	15:39	Rescue	Seaton	Sidmouth Lifeboat was tasked to search for an inflatable dinghy drifting South from Seaton Beach. The dinghy had 3 persons on board waving for assistance. Sidmouth Lifeboat arrived on scene to find that the dinghy had made Seaton Beach safely, with all aboard safe and well.
001/09	15/03/09	16:34	Rescue	Sandy Cove	Following a call from Portland Coastguard Sidmouth Lifeboat was tasked to assist two people cut off by the tide between Sandy cove and Ladram Bay West of Sidmouth. Exmouth Coastguard were in attendance at Hern point rock, and helped to walk the casualties round to a safe pick up point in Sandy cove. The casualties were taken aboard the lifeboat and ferried to a safe place in Ladram Bay
