Concern for paddleboarders near Beer Head

Sidmouth Independent Lifeboat launched following a report from a member of the public to the Coastguard that two paddleboarders might be in difficulty near Weston.

The Lifeboat proceeded east along the coast and located the paddleboarders near Beer Head. After speaking with them, the crew confirmed they were safe, confident in their onward journey, and had means to contact the Coastguard should they require assistance.

With no further concerns, the Lifeboat returned to station.
