Shoreline search between Budleigh and Chiselbury Bay

Sidmouth Independent Lifeboat was tasked by Solent Coastguard to assist with a shoreline search between Budleigh Beach and Chiselbury Bay.

The operation, coordinated alongside Beer and Exmouth Coastguard teams, was further supported by a Coastguard drone team from Torbay to enhance search capability over the coastal terrain. Sidmouth Lifeboat deployed two crew members ashore to assist with a land-based search, working in conjunction with shore teams.

After an extensive search, no persons were found in distress and the search was stood down at 19:40.
