Sidmouth Independent Lifeboat assists in search for missing person

Sidmouth Independent Lifeboat was tasked to search for missing person with significant concern for wellbeing.

The crew carried out extensive searches between Exmouth and Ladram Bay, along with Exmouth All Weather and Inshore Lifeboats, two coastguard helicopters, and coastguard and police teams ashore.

After a long period of searching, sadly nothing was found and the lifeboat was stood down and returned to station at 1330.
