Lifeguards
Sidmouth Lifeboat lifeguards' role is to ensure the safety of those on the the beach and in the water.
They will be on duty from 10am - 6pm, offering advice and support to locals and visitors on our beautiful beach daily during May half term, then every weekend until the summer holidays, when they will resume daily cover.

Beach safety talks
As part of our commitment to promote sea safety our lifeguards have been visiting schools to talk about our organisation.
The children will learn all about sidmouth Lifeboat, the lifeboat crew and the lifeguards. They will also learn about the flags on the beach, how to be better prepared in and around the water and what to do if they see someone in trouble.
