Sidmouth Independent Lifeboat assists nine people on broken down motor vessel

Sidmouth Independent Lifeboat was tasked to assist a 21 foot motor vessel that had broken down, with a reported nine people onboard, including five children.

The vessel was believed to be located off Ladram Bay, but was located off Orcombe Point and taken in tow for return to Topsham. Assistance was requested from Exmouth RNLI to take the vessel on tow from the Estuary mouth to Exmouth Marina.
